About this room

The Single Room measures between 15 and 18 m² and is the most compact of our rooms, arranged for one guest who wants a well-used space in central Madrid. It is the smallest category in the house, yet it comes with its own bathroom and everything that is essential.

Everything in it is organised around the solo traveller: the single bed as the centre of the room, the desk for working and a layout that makes the most of every corner of these 15 to 18 m², in a compact and efficient space.

The bathroom is private and en suite, reached directly from the room, so there are no shared corridors to cross. For a single room, having a bathroom of your own rather than sharing with other guests is one of its strongest points.

The work desk, together with free WiFi, makes it a comfortable base if you come to Madrid for work or for an event in the city, and the flat-screen TV helps you switch off at the end of the day. Air conditioning and heating keep the room comfortable year round.

It is the right room for solo city breaks, business trips or short stays where location and a good night of sleep matter most. If you are travelling alone and want a functional room with its own bathroom right in the centre, the Single Room delivers.

The hostal, family run, occupies numbers 13 and 14 of C. de Pizarro, right in the centre of Madrid and steps from Gran Vía. Reception is at number 13; the guest rooms are in the adjacent building at number 14.

Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 11 am, with reception staffed every day from 10 am to 5 pm. If you expect to arrive later, just let us know when booking and we will send you everything you need to check in on your own.
