About this room

At 22 m², the one-bed Comfort Double is one of the largest of our double rooms, tied in size with the two-bed Comfort Double. It belongs to our Comfort tier, a step above the Standard Double in both floor area and furnishings, and it is made for guests who want more room to move during a stay in central Madrid.

The king-size bed is the heart of the room and sleeps two with space to spare. It is the natural choice for couples, and just as good for a solo traveller who prefers a big bed at the end of a long day in the city.

The bathroom is private and en-suite: it opens directly off the bedroom and is not shared with any other guest of the hostal. With no shared bathrooms and no queues, you can shower and get ready at your own pace, both in the morning before heading out and at night when you come back.

The room has hardwood floors, air conditioning and heating, so you can keep the temperature pleasant through the warm and the cold months of the year. WiFi is free of charge, so you can plan your routes, answer messages or work for a while from the room at no extra cost.

By size and equipment, this room suits couples on a weekend break or a longer holiday who want a comfortable base within a short walk of Gran Vía. It also works well for working trips where all you need is a good bed, WiFi and a bathroom of your own.

The hostal, family run, occupies numbers 13 and 14 of C. de Pizarro, right in the centre of Madrid and steps from Gran Vía. Reception is at number 13; the guest rooms are in the adjacent building at number 14.

Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 11 am, with reception staffed every day from 10 am to 5 pm. If you expect to arrive later, just let us know when booking and we will send you everything you need to check in on your own.
